Vaquera and Chloë Sevigny Launch Weekly Paul’s Casablancas Party

This past Tuesday, downtown NYC spot Paul’s Casablanca opened their doors a bit earlier than their typical Tuesday night, kicking off their new weekly party “Baguette,” hosted by Vaquera and Chloë Sevigny alongside Will Martinez, Bryce Willard Smithe, Cooper Cheatham and Ian Bradley.

All the staff and hosts were rocking new uniforms designed by Vaquera specifically for the Tuesday night festivities. The uniforms for all the femmes includes sailor caps with “Baguette” written in large cursive letters over the front face of the cap and white t-shirts with black printed on bras adorning their chests. For the boys, the uniform is simply a black t-shirt that says “Male” in big blocky white letters.

“Baguette” marks Paul’s Casablanca’s newest weekly party, following in a long line of iconic weekly parties over the years including “Morrissey Night” and “Paul’s Dolls.” This party seems especially fresh — it’s a family affair!

With Chloé hosting at her brother’s club, there seems to be a newly injected excitement into the venue. In NYC nightlife it is difficult to keep any venue feeling cool, but Paul’s always keeps things new and exciting. Nina Gurbanova and the hot guy in a leopard jacket with a pencil mustache (Markus Kelle) did an excellent job manning the door. Everyone in the party was super chic. The room was filled with Paul’s regulars, queer scene icons, downtown debutantes and a handsome cast of new faces passing through the night.

Taylore Scarabelli was schmoozing with some industry friends by the bar. Mark Hunter AKA The Cobrasnake was flicking up the dance floor. KennyHoopla was rocking throughout the night. Brooke McCord popped in wearing a super cute black and white Vaquera jacket and corset. Everyone was dancing. Smiles and laughter bounced off the walls and a tinge of gossip floated through the air. Movers and shakers were plotting. A healthy dose of side eye was present. Fun was all around. Love, too. It was a great kickoff to a fun weekly party set to pull a strong Tuesday night crowd.

You won’t want to miss this one. Every Tuesday 8 PM to 2 AM. Tomorrow night they’ll be back at it again. Party with Vaquera at Casa!
